Dear Angelic Energy customers,

As you know, Nottingham City Council, which owned our supply license partner Robin Hood Energy, sold the business to British Gas.

As an Angelic Energy customer, you will now have been switched over to British Gas unless you have chosen to change supplier.

We have been informed by Robin Hood Energy that British Gas will match or beat your current tariff with us and will honour existing tariffs for the remainder of your contract. They have also said they will put in place other safeguards like asking for your consent to join them.

Customers who do not wish to transfer to British Gas will be free to leave without any exit fees. If you would like to switch to another energy supplier, you can find out more at Ofgem-accredited price comparison sites

A supplier you might like to consider is London Power, a partnership between the Mayor of London and Octopus Energy. London Power was launched to provide fair, affordable, green energy to all Londoners, with any profits made by City Hall being reinvested into social and environmental programmes within London. They promise that once your contract is finished they will move you onto the cheapest similar plan so you don’t pay any more than you need to.
