Energy saving tips

Use less, save more

There are lots of small changes you can make to reduce the amount of energy you use. And with a bit of investment now, you’ll see the savings add up even faster.

Draught-proofing of window and doors and blocking cracks in floors and skirting boards can save around £20 a year on energy bills.

Beware the standby button. Turn appliances off properly and you could save £30 a year.

Spend one minute less in the shower each day and a family of four could save £75 a year on energy and water bills.
